Growing up with a mother who loved to host dinner parties and bake all things sweet was a part of my world from an early age.  It all started when I fancied something sweet for one of my children’s birthdays to eat and decided to recreate some of the delicious cakes from my childhood. I started by reminiscing about the cakes I used to eat and although my favourite memory is one of me sitting on the floor ‘licking the bowl’, it certainly stirred something inside me. I dusted off my apron and started to bake, it became more than an hobby more of a creative therapy,  so my journey of discovery began which showed me that I enjoy baking and thoroughly enjoy the creative process.
